John William Fain, age 57, of Selma, died Wednesday March 14, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Viola Fain; brother, Arthur "Buddy" Fain (Henrietta "Hank") of Salem, AL; sisters, Judith Long (Burt) of Selma and Edith Fisher (Ed) of Satsuma, AL; numerous, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends and caregivers at Cahaba Mental Health Center.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 16, 2012 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Ira Blanchard officiating and burial following in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Perry County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday March 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be special friend, Floyd Sanders, Daniel Ferguson, Chris Bohannon, Cody Bohannon, Cory Webb, Aubrey Smitherman and David Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be George Webb, Douglas Ferguson, Burt Long, Rick Ferguson and Kevin Childs.
