John Hester

John W. Hester of Selma, AL age 73 passed away Sunday, November 29th at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

He was a renowned and gifted automobile customizer and restorer of all makes and models of cars and trucks with expert paint and body skills as well as being an extremely knowledgeable and skilled mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jo Ann Cole Hester and his parents Janet Elam Hester and Willy Alvin Hester.

He is survived by his sister Bonnie Hester and his brother William ‘Bubba’ Hester.  He is also survived by his sons John Wesley Hester, Jr. and Anthony Scott Hester (Lisa).  Three grandchildren: Austin Scott Hester, Katy Jewel Hester and Zachery Cole Hester.
