John W. Jackson Jr. passed on into Heaven on Sunday May 30, 2010 at his home in Valley Grande. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. graveside at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his son, David Jackson of Valley Grande, daughter, Diane Jackson Talor of Birmingham, AL, grandsons, Tomi John Talor (Michelle) of Madison, AL, John Randall Jackson of Gadsden, AL, granddaughter, Brooks Robinson of Meridian, MS, two great-grandchildren, Meredith Talor of Madison, AL, Colton Robinson of Meridian, MS,. Honorary pallbearers will be Tomi John Talor, John Randall Jackson, Jason R. Vest, Hugh Albertson, Pickie Pickering, Joe Casey, Charlie Miller, Ray Hollingshead, Billy Ray Elmore, Col (R) Gary Forrest, Ronnie Grantham, Randy Grantham, Sonny Gibbs, Northside Baptist Church, and BPO E Lodge # 167.
