John Austin McDonald age 18 of Montgomery and formerly of Selma, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
He was born in Selma on August 11, 2003 to John V. McDonald and Stephanie Green.
He is survived by his loving parents, John (Alice) McDonald and Stephanie (Chris Lindsey) Green; siblings, Haleigh G. McDonald, Ashton Lindsey, Bailey Henson (Noah), Maddie Cate Lindsey, and Ashley (Josh) Broadhead; nephew, Waylon Henson; grandparents, Linda Green, Alsey and Janice McDonald; aunts and uncles, Jennifer McDonald, Amy (Alan) King, Kelsey Green, and Phillip Green; and cousins, Khloe King, Kinsley King, and Mason King.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary P. Green.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Green officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens.
