John Moseley

John Clayton “John John” Moseley, age 33, of Meridian, MS, formerly of Selma, AL, died on April 25, 2018.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma, AL. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 30, 2018 at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, MS.

John was preceded in death by his stepfather Nick Marter; grandparents John D. Champion, Jr., Curtis E. Moseley, and Jacqueline “Barbara” Moseley, of Selma, AL; great-grandparents George and Nealie Jane Avritt of Point Clear, AL; and his niece Lauren McKenzie Wright.

John is survived by his wife Scarlett; sons, Cohen and Ledger Moseley of Meridian, MS; parents, Curtis “Chip” (Naomi) Moseley, and Sherry Champion Marter; sisters Jessica Moseley (Cory Lockhart) and Tabitha Wright; brother Jacob Moseley (Janet); step siblings Josh Dumas and Paige Dumas (Shane); brother-in-law Christian Monsour; grandmother Faye Champion; uncles/aunts, Derek (Celeste) Champion, Sheila Jenkins, Emmett (Rhonda) Moseley; cousins, Noah and Jonah Champion, Candice Williams, Ashley Witherspoon, and Jason Witherspoon, Elizabeth and Seth Moseley; nephews Hayden Moseley, Trotter Hasty, Owen and Noah Gregg, Alex Monsour; nieces Reese Moseley, Sunny Roberts and Victoria Monsour. He leaves behind many extended family members, and friends. He loved big; his kind and caring heart was his greatest gift, because he gave to others, all that he had in it.
