John Pomeroy

John Eugene Pomeroy, age 86, of Plantersville, AL, passed away May 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Pomeroy. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Kay Pomeroy; children, Buford Pomeroy, Phila Blaylock, Scott (Kelly) Pomeroy and LeAnn (Tim) Crawford; grandchildren, Drew Pomeroy, John Pomeroy, Kaysie (Wesley) Wilkins, Brent (Molly) Crawford, Alie (Jeffry) Burt, Lauren (Jeremy) Logan and Lindsay (Meng) Ung; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Plantersville Christian Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Plantersville Christian Church Cemetery, c/o Noodie Carroll, 600 Pecan Road, Plantersville, AL, 36758.
