Joseph Connor

Joseph Connor, age 85, 0f Selma, AL, passed away October 21, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Connor; children, Betty (Rod) Rochester, Steve (Pat) McCloud, Mitchell (Michelle) Frith, Mike (Aimee) Frith and Kim (Scotty) Harris; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Darrin Rochester, Michael Frith, Brian Frith, Blake Harris, Wesley Ballard and Kyle Paez. Honorary pallbearer will be P. J. Bains. Mr. Connor served as a deacon of Fairview Baptist Church and was a chaplain. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. The family would like to send a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice; nurses, Amy, Christy and Sam and aid, Alicia with Ballard's Care Service.
