Joseph Freine

Joseph Arthur Freine, age 82, of Selma, died Thursday December 8, 2011. Mr. Freine was a Korean War Veteran, retired from the United States Air Force and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Freine; children, Judy Clark and Dejuan Rasmussen; brother, Thomas Freine and grandchild, Angela Clark. He is survived by his children, Artie Freine (Katie), Tina Cargill (Ray), Roy Freine (Sandy), Roxie Sorrells and Mark Rasmussen; grandchildren, Kimberly Clark Edwards (Jason), Joe Clark, Adam Freine, Erin Phillips (Craig), Megan Cook, Austin Cook, Justin Freine, Mallory Freine, Catherine Freine, Ethan Cargill and Paisley Rasmussen and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 11, 2011 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Taylor officiating and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home.

The funeral will be with Military Honors and pallbearers will be Air Force Honor Guard.
