Joseph Harrell

Joseph Earl Harrell  passed away September 23, 2022. He was born to the late James E. Harrell and Sarah Jo Watters on August 9, 1948.

He is survived by his son, Tim Harrell (Michelle); brother, Ronnie Harrell (Pam); aunt, Phyllis Davis; nieces, Tina Hayes (George), Paula Barlow (Wayne), Angie Harrell and Christie English.

Funeral services will be Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Flat Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Active Pallbearers will be the Selma Police Department.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ramsey Knight, John Brock, Jimmy Jenkins, Jimmy McCullough, Marty Roney, Ray Roberts, Glenn Easter, Erby Pope, Pat Nichols, and Steve Lisenbe.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Fraternal Order of Police Selma Lodge #12, P.O. Box 475, Selma, AL 36702.
