Joyce Blackmon

Joyce Blackmon, age 72, of Selma, AL, passed away May 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pleas and Roxanne Headley Jones. She is survived by her husband, Hester Blackmon; son, William Grit (Becky) Chavers; stepdaughter, Christa (Mike) Jackson; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bill Best officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Steve Duncan, Mike Jackson, Victor Blackmon, Adam Blackmon, Jerry Blackmon and Justin "Bubba" Blackmon.
