Joyce Hewston

Joyce Gilmore Hewston, 77 years of age, passed away Sunday morning, January 29, 2012, in Selma, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, George W. Hewston. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her husband, George, of Marion Junction, she is survived by her sons, George Andrew Hewston, of Marion Junction, and Robert Furniss (Nancy) Hewston, of Clanton, and grandson, Robert Andrew Hewston (Drew), of Marion Junction. Graveside services will be held at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma on Tuesday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Norman G. Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to one's favorite charity. Lawrence Brown Funeral Home of Selma is in charge of arrangements.
