Katharine "Katie" Davis Hayes passed away on Saturday, November 30,2024 in Trussville, Alabama at the age of 59..

She was born in Birmingham, AL on October 07, 1964, to the late Peggy Davis and the late Joe Davis Sr.

Katie was a wife, mother, and friend to everyone, and she cared deeply about all three. Her family always came first. She was a homemaker, and she was good at it and not just for her family but for others as well.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Edward Hayes, Jr.; children, Chad Hayes (Brandi Hayes), Makayla Hayes; grandchildren, Chloe Hayes, Caleb Hayes, Brantleigh Hayes, and Christopher Hayes; brother Joe Davis (Robin Davis); and nephew, Payton Davis (Amber Davis).

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
