Kathryne Colee

Nola Kathryne Reed Colee of Jones, Alabama passed away December 3, 2021 at the age of 95.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Jones, Alabama with Dr. Bob Browning and Rev. Greg Swanor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed online at http://www.WatchLawrence.live , via the funeral home’s Facebook page.

Kathryne was born May 20, 1926 in Jones to the late Lillian Wyatt and John Woodfin Reed. She was the second of six children and the oldest daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Henry Lee Colee; her son, John Allen Colee; sisters, Doris Reed Turner, Janey Beatrice Reed and brother, J.W. Reed, Jr.

Kathryne is survived by her daughter, Gail Colee (Robert) Browning; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Oswalt Colee; grandchildren, Kristian Allen (Brittany) Colee, Whitney Colee (Shane) Collins and Robert S. (Kimberly) Browning, IV; eight great-grandchildren, Kadyn Colee, Kamden Colee, Kash Colee, Robert S. Browning, V, Judson Browning, James Browning, Colee Collins and Rory Collins; sister, Eleanor Reed Joyner; brother, Bob Ed (Golda) Reed and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Kristian Colee, Bob Browning, Shane Collins, Ryan Reed, Trent Reed and Cody McCurdy.

Honorary pallbearers are Kadyn Colee, Robert Browning, V, Kamden Colee, Kash Colee, Colee Collins, Judson Browning, Rory Collins and James Browning.
