Kay Thomley

Kay Free Thomley, 53, of Selma died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 13, 2009 at the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. Mrs. Thomley is survived by her husband, Roy Thomley of Selma, daughter, Melissa Thomley Tate (William) of Selma; grandchildren, Nathan, Shannon, and Gatlin Tate; mother, Agnes Free of Valley Grande, brother; James Free of Selma, sister, Barbara (T.J.) Etheridge of Valley Grande, She was preceded in death by her father, James Thurman Free. The family wants to express very special thanks to the staff of Cahaba Hospice. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Thomley, Philip Free, Andy Brunson, Kent Harris, TJ Etheridge, and Dale Barrett. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home before the service.
