Kenneth Messer

Kenneth ���Ken��� Messer age 65 of Clanton passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 17, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Clanton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Dovey and Rev. Larry Anderson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mr. Messer is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann Messer and his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Judson Messer. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Judson ���Jud��� Messer, Jr. (Tammy), his daughter Ann Messer Glasscock (Tommy), his two granddaughters, Morgan E. Glasscock and Lynsie R. Glasscock, his sister Hazel Thomas, a brother Hollis Messer (Jo), numerous nieces and nephews and several young people who called him ���Grumps.��� In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Clanton First United Methodist Church in his name.
