Sardis, Alabama

Larry Edward Curry of Sardis, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at St. Franics Hospital in Cloumbus, Georgia at the age of 79.

He was born in Red Level, Alabama on September 21, 1944 to the late Edward Curry and the late Loyette Nolan Curry.

Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to be on the go, loved dancing, taking care of his properties and enjoying a cold one. Larry also enjoyed taking naps and relaxing at home. He loved his family and friends fiercely and will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Jo for her dedication, devotion and love to Larry over the last several years, especially these past few months. We couldn’t have made it through this without her. We find joy in knowing that an eternal reunion between Larry and Susan has taken place and they are at peace forevermore.

He is survived by his children, Brian Curry (Pam) and Amanda Finkhousen (Jeff); grandchildren, Alyssa Curry, Peyton Benson, Clay Blauvelt, and Dylan Curry; great-grandchildren, Santana Skinner and Camden Skinner; and companion, Jo Rupert.

He is preceded by his parents; his wife, Susan Curry; and a brother, Donald Curry.
