Larry C. Lewis passed away December 10, 2023 at the age of 88. He was born July 13, 1935 to the late Charles and Hermie Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ted Lewis, Dan Lewis, Oliver Lewis, Maxine Crowder, Violet Hatfield and Eleanor Faye Ivey.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Lewis; sons, Scott Lewis, Robert Lewis (Lauren Lovelady) and Jason (Brandy) Lewis; grandchildren, Blake Lewis, Aidan Lewis, Alden Ammons, Mackenzie Ammons, Mary Vincent Lewis, Anna Ammons and Ansleigh Rayne Lewis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Milstead and Ferrell Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Joe Estes, Mickey Ashley, Joe Gibson, Curtis Aycock, Mark Mott and Adam Draime.
