Laura Rhodes

Laura Ruth Rhodes, age 80, of Selma, AL, passed away September 29, 2013. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Dusty Rhodes; sons, Mike (Ramona) Rhodes and Kenneth Dale (Teresa) Rhodes; daughter, Rebecca Anne (Sam) Heinbach; sister, Dorothy (Ed) Tomlin; grandchildren, Avery Rhodes (Chris) Akins, Lelia Heinbach and Kendale Rhodes and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Sumerlin and Rev. Robert Taylor officiating and special music by Karen Hollis. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Ocmulgee Baptist Church Youth Fund, Rt. 6 Box 378, Selma, AL, 36701.
