Lena I. Johnson, age 73, of Selma, died Friday June 12, 2009 at her home. Ms. Johnson retired from Selma Medical Center where she was the Medical Records Clerk. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Ingram, Mother Florine Ingram and her son Dennis Johnson. Survivors include her son, Davy k. Johnson (Lisa); daughters, Debbie J. Nichols (Greg), Dona K. Morris (Charles); brothers, Ferma Ingram (Joan) of Georgia; Robert Ingram (Mary) of Selma, Jimmy Ingram (Beverly) of Prattville; sisters, Faye Thompson (Conrad) of Selma, Blanche Roberts (Charlton) of Georgia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A chapel service will be held Sunday June 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Minister Tom McLemore officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday June 13 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian Johnson, Joey Easterling, Charlie Morris, Steve Morris, Greg Morris, Robbie Ingram and Mark Ingram. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Asera Care Hospice, 1013 Medical Center Parkway Selma, AL 36701.
