Lewis Fuqua

Lewis Howard Fuqua, 82, of Selma died July 24, 2008 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Joe Britton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 P.M. on Sunday. Mr. Fuqua is survived by his wife, Jewell Sellers Fuqua; daughters, Debbie K. Hughey, Lisa Keasler (Buddy), Brenda Joyce Ingram (Tom); son, Tony Howard Fuqua (Angie); Grandchildren, Trecey Dewalt (Chad), Dannon Appleyard (Renee), Lauren Patrick (Jason), Jeremy Hughey (Brandy), Meg Gale (Dan), Murray Keasler, and Ryanne Fuqua; Great Grandchildren, Kylee Gale, Savannah Patrick, Gavin Appleyard, and Lake Gale; brothers, William Fuqua (Jen), Edward Fuqua (Ella), James Fuqua (Joan), and Ernest Fuqua (Velma); sister-in-law, Joan Fuqua; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Mr. Fuqua was a member of the VFW Post 3016. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church St., Selma, AL 36701 or West End Baptist Church, 504 Cahaba Road, Selma, AL 36701.
