Lillian Eileen Jones Kane
Lillian Eileen Jones Kane, age 78, died Friday May 22, 2009. Services will be held Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at St Pauls Episcopal Church with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. at the church in Parrish Hall. Survivors include her children, Michael Kane (Deborah), Faye Kane Clements; grandchildren, Lamar B.P. Kane, Specialist Charles Gregory Clements and Eileen Rutledge Clements.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kane, Lamar Kane, Dan Gentry, Steve Gentry, Chip Hinson and Lloyd Eicher.
Ms. Kane was a member of the Music Study Club where she served as President two times. She was also a member and former board member of the Canbrake Players. In the past she served as Board of Trustees, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Board of Directors, Tombigbee G.S Council, Girl Scouts in Demopolis as leader, The City of Demopolis Arts Committee Chairman, President; Women of Trinity Church twice and President of the 6th District Dental Auxiliary.
