Linda Faye Wood Blakeway, age 63, of Selma, died Friday February 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Ellie Leroy Wood and Kathleen Franklin Wood. She is survived by her long time companion, Billy Wayne Bundy; sons, Keith (Talissa) Thornton of Montevallo, AL and Aaron (Tammy) Thornton of Chelsea, AL; daughters, Wanda (Ken) Grindle of Selma, Connie Tucker (Wilbur Sanders) of Selma, and Cassandra (Robby) Anderson of Clanton, AL; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Shirley) Wood of Selma and her sister Sara (Randy) Graves of Valley Head, AL.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday February 21, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Pat Grindle officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday night.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to The Montgomery Cancer Center-Selma, Suite 110, 1023 Medical Center Pkwy., Selma, AL., 36701 or The Craig Volunteer Fire Department.
Active pallbearers will be The Craig Volunteer Fire Department.
