Linda Fields

Linda Louise Fields, age 59, of Selma, AL and formerly of Jonesboro, GA, passed away May 1, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Fields; father, Lee Brunson; mother, Pearlie Webb and grandmother, Mary Singleton. Surviving are her father, Jimmy Webb; daughters, Darlene Hester and Carmen Johnson; sister, Carolyn James; extended family, Natasha Davenport, Joe Howell, David Mundell and Erik (Kristy) Pruitt; grandchildren, Claudia Ross, Jessie Fields, Hannah Fields James Hester, Jamie Fox, Joanie Parker and Joey Hester; ten great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful, giving and generous woman. She lived a hard life full of pain and adversity, yet it never made her bitter. It only made her stronger. She will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Joe Howell, Erik Pruitt, David Mundell, Jimbo Small, Michael Bell, Clinton Underwood and John Trehern.
