Lois Ann Langston, of Selma, Alabama, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. She also resided at Perry County Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama for a short time.
Visitation will be held at Lawrence Brown é��é��é�" Service Funeral Home, In Selma, Alabama, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be at Pineview Memory Gardens, in Selma, Alabama, on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ackerman officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Langston was born in Sheldon, Illinois, March 29, 1938, to William Wedgebury and Dorothy Walker.
She moved to Alabama after her marriage to Jesse Willard Langston (deceased - 1995) in Watseka, Illinois on September 25, 1964. She gave excellent care to immediate family and extended family as well.
Lois is survived by her sisters, Nita Wieringa (Bill) of Indiana, Helen Brady of Illinois, and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special aunt that she grew up with in Illinois, Mildred Trumann and her children.
Lois is the mother of three children, Lynn Nichols (Eugene), Dean Langston (Linda), and Robert Langston (Karen), all living in the Selma, Alabama area.
She has seven grandchildren, ranging in age from 23 years old to 5 years old. Dena Langston, Johnathon Langston (Kay Lynn), Jessica Langston, Jimmy Langston, Brittany Solomon, Dawson Langston and McKenzie Nichols, all living in Alabama.
