Lois Ousley Suddeth, born September 9, 1938, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Lelia Ousley, and a brother-in-law, Therman Waldrop.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Joseph H. Suddeth; sons, Joseph W. Suddeth, Stephen Suddeth (Victoria), and Richard Suddeth; sister, Estelle Waldrop; brothers, Jerry Ousley (Brenda) and Jack Ousley (Charlotte); grandchildren, Joseph R. Suddeth and Faridah Suddeth.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday October 1, 2013 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Derrick Ousley officiating. Burial will follow at Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Waldrop, Clay Ousley, Wade Ousley, Wesley Kelly, Joseph W. Suddeth, and Stephen Suddeth. Honorary Pallbearer is Buddy Suddeth.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Alpine Baptist Church, c/o Johnny Jones, 2875 County Road 332, Plantersville, AL 36758.
