Louise Carswell

Louise B. Carswell, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away February 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Terrence Moran and Genie Baxter; her first husband, Pete Walker; brothers, Franklin Baxter, Moran Baxter and Jim Baxter and son, John Carswell. Surviving are her husband, Earl D. Carswell; sons, Joe Baxter (Kay) Walker and Robert Stephen (Vicky) Walker, Bobby (Cathy) Carswell, Bruce (Janice) Carswell, Tim (Renee) Carswell, Terry (Mary) Carswell and Mike (Evelyn) Carswell; daughters, Ann Shassere, Susie Hillis, Sarah (Diane) Walker and Earldeen Kimbril; sisters, Martha (Pat) Raley, Leah (Earl) Durkee and Betty (George) Fairchild; forty-two grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Smith officiating.
