Lucy Cranmore Duncan passed away November 18, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born January 20, 1932 to the late William Wesley Cranmore and Ida Mae Fletcher. She was a long time member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Duncan; brothers, David (Estelle) Cranmore, Henry (Faye) Cranmore, Frank (Mary) Cranmore, Robert Cranmore and William Cranmore; sisters, Brownie (Maynard) Williams and Rosie (Floyd) Johnson and brother-in-law, Richard Fikes.
She is survived by her sons, Arthur (Candi) Duncan, Charles (Rhonda) Duncan, Samuel (Carolyn) Duncan and William Sewell; daughter, Wanda (Gary Evans) Duncan Ward; grandchildren, Morgan Duncan, Lane Duncan, Brent Duncan, Rebecca Barrow, Jerry Barrow, Donna (Wayne) Nickles, Michelle (Matt) Jenkins, Amber (Josh) Wilson, Mitzi (Brian) Gilchrist, Tony (Sheila) Ward and Tema (Eddie) Campbell; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon (Florence) Cranmore; sister, Ruby Fikes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Taylor and Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Duncan, Brent Duncan, Tony Ward, Brian Gilchrist, Eddie Campbell and Matt Jenkins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jo Ann Ruder and Cindy Leonard for their loving care.
