Lyron Gandy, Sr.

Lyron Leighton "LL" Gandy, age 75, of Selma, AL, passed away May 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Ousley Gandy and his parents, Voncil and Effie Mae Gandy. Surviving are his children, Susan (Mark) Hunter, Lyron Leighton "Shorty" (Tonya) Gandy, Jr., Kenneth "Cookie" Gandy, Jeff (Betty Sue) Gandy, Sharron (Jeff) Lawrence, Richard Gandy and Travis (Missy) Gandy; sister, Levon (Johnny) Smith; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2012 at 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Lyron Leighton Gandy, Jr., Jeff Gandy, Kenneth Gandy, Richard Gandy, Mark Hunter and Michael Gandy.
