Ms. Mable Joyce Willis age 79 of Selma, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Joyce was born in Clanton, Alabama on September 28, 1941 to the late Mr. J.D. Willis and the late Mrs. Bertha Willis.
She was a retired Care Giver.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Cook Jr. (Pam),Sonia Cook and Phyllis Ross (William);siblings, Harold Willis (Wanda),Richard Willis (Gayle),David Willis (Carolyn), Dorothy Jones, Janice McConnell (Don), Martha Holbrook (Claude), and Judy Duncan (Ray);grandchildren, Shannon Pierce (Tom), Andy Cook, Timothy Burnett (Sidney), Daniela Moore (Daniel),Joseph Cranmore (Audrey),Matthew Ross (Lindsey) and 7 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; J.D. and Bertha Willis; and siblings, Peggy Sue Willis, Grace Willis, Elizabeth Stone, Linda Staggers and brother-in-law, Bobby Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande with Bro. Daniel Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday at Selma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Blake Willis, Richard Willis, Harold Willis, David Willis, William Ross and Lewis Stone.
