Malcolm McKay Godwin, age 89, of Sardis, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at his home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Linda Tarver officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Malcolm is survived by his daughters: Wanda (David) Hayes, Brenda (Mike) Deavers; grandchildren: David M. Hayes, Marlee D. Hayes, Michael T. Godwin, Matthew O. Godwin, Austin M. Deavers, and Alicia M. Deavers; and great grandchild: Madison Godwin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends: KC KongChaun and Otis Bender.
He is preceded by his wife: Inell Duncan Godwin; sons: Malcolm E. and Steve Godwin; parents: Clifford Guy and Earl Nevelle Godwin; brothers: Guy, Curtis, and Montague. Godwin; sister: Vermelle Godwin Thompson; and daughter in law: Beverly Godwin.
Pallbearers will be: Raymond Cook, Curtis Cook, Jimmy Champion, Wayne Epperson, Robert and Ryan Deavers.
