Mamie Hamilton

Mamie “Sue” Jones Hamilton of Katy, Texas passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 22, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, Hurstle and Annie Judson Jones and sister, Annie Lou Sheffield.

She is survived by her two sons, Judson Keith Fahey (Deanna) of San Antonio, Texas and Hurstle Kent Fahey (Ariann) of Katy, Texas; her precious grandsons Ethan Zachary Fahey and Wyatt Marshall Fahey of Katy, Texas; two God Children, Noah Sanders of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Lily Sanders of Jacksonville, Florida; her twin sister Betty J. Edwards of Selma, Alabama; her niece Mimi Sheffield Lynch, along with other numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue graduated from Albert G Parrish High School in 1956. She was most proud of earning her BA degree in 1992 after having attended ten colleges during 36 1/2 years. She worked in the legal field for over twenty years and retired from Conoco Phillips in 1993.

She will be laid to rest at New Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
