Marcia Walker Sacks, 90, of Selma, Alabama went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2017. In 2015, she moved to Yukon, Oklahoma to live with her oldest daughter, Suzanne, who cared for her mother until she went to live at Willowood Assisted Living in Mustang, Oklahoma. She was a member of Elkdale Baptist Church in Selma for as long as her health permitted. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by three children: two daughters, Suzanne Bolendar (John Charles) of Yukon, OK, and Jan Sopshier of Greeneville, TN; son, Tom Sacks (Carol) of Selma, AL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jennifer Goldfuss (John Micheal) John Eric Bolendar (Deborah), Sarah Fieck (John Walter), Amy Shipley, Stacy Marion, Ned Osborne, Virginia Poole (Bill), Joseph Sacks (Ashley), eighteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Evelyn Rohe (Ray) of FL; brother, Bill Stauffer (Lois) of Liberal, MO, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sacks; mother and father, William and Mrytle Stauffer and a sister, Joyce Livering. Family will be pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 2-3:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at Pineview Memory Gardens following visitation.
