Margaret Elizabeth Girlie Bamberg, born November 29, 1942, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2015 at the age of 72.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bamberg; father, Robert Girlie and grandson, Michael Glass.
She leaves behind her children, Darlene Curry, Deborah (Gary) Cowley and Denise Glass; grandchildren, Morgan Curry (Andre') Schillinger, Shane (Amber) Curry, Brooks (Marissa) Cowley, Conn (Melissa) Cowley, Tabitha Glass Aguilar, Caleb Cowley and Zachary Cowley; four great-grandchildren, mother, Eunice Girlie; sister, Betty Waloga (Stan); brothers, Calvin Girlie (Carolyn), Bobby Girlie (Peggy) and Ronnie Gill (Carol) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Rich officiating. Private Family burial will follow in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Heiberger, Al. Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Active Pallbearers will be Kenny Girlie, Shane Curry, Conn Cowley, Brooks Cowley, Zachary Cowley, and Caleb Cowley.
