Margaret Elizabeth Johnson, age 81, of Pelham, AL. formerly of Selma, AL. passed away November 23, 2017.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Curtis H. Johnson and Laymon Yelverton, Sr.; parents, Charlie and Lillian Upchurch; brother, Herbert Upchurch and grand- daughter; Melanie Yelverton.
She is survived by her children; Laymon (Ann) Yelverton, Jr.,Frankie (Cheryl) Yelverton, Harold Yelverton, Kent (Janet) Johnson, Brad (Julie) Johnson, Patsy (Bryan) Maner, Leigh (Alan) Bevard, brothers; Charlie (Star) Upchurch, Jr., Ernest (Gina) Upchurch, eighteen Grandchildren, fifteen great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with family and friends officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Donations can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
