Margie Golson

Margie Rush Golson, age 86 of Selma, died June 5, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Bertha Rush, her sister, Jean Rush Carter, and infant daughter, Linda Jane Golson. Survivors include her son, Charles A. (Judy) Golson Sr. of Valley Grande, daughter, Sue Golson (Alan) Davis, of Sun City West, AZ, four grandchildren, Charles A. Golson Jr. and Peyton Golson Dalton of Birmingham, AL, Christopher S. Golson of Auburn, AL, and Kara Shea Davis Crohn of Riverside, CA, six great grandchildren, Reid Golson, Andrew Golson, Caroline Daniels, Clay Golson, Oliver Crohn, and Ezra Crohn, sister, Doris Rush Sansom and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday June 10, 2008, at 11:00 AM in Plantersville Christian Cemetery with Reverend Mr. Henry Levert officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday June 9, 2008, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
