Margie Hendrix

Margie Crocker Hendrix, age 83, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away February 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Hendrix, brother, Arlee Crocker, brothers-in-law, J.C. Williams and Ed Elliot and sister, Katherine Crocker. Margie is survived by her son, Stephen Renshaw "Rennie" (Clara) Hendrix; daughter, Carol Ann (Horace) Jones; brothers, Bill (Jean) Crocker, Jim (Joan) Crocker, Joe (Margaret) Crocker and Bobby (Lyn) Crocker; sisters, Maurine (Flyn) Burnette, Nora Williams, Elsie (Bryant) Green, Judy Elliot and Pat (Tim) Pate, sisters-in-law, Erma (Alvin) Owens, Evelyn Howard and Iris Crocker; grandchildren, Kristie Jones, Kelly, (Gary) Norton, Malena Kee and Michael (Tonya) Kee; great grandchildren, Mary Lawson Norton, Maggie Norton, Dalton Kee, Emilie Kee and Kirk Kinard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., February 7, 2011 at New Live Oak, with Rev. Guy Anderson and Rev. Bob Frazier officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Jerry Hughes, Gary Norton, Horace Jones, Micheal Kee, Joe Crocker, Bobby Crocker, and Jim Crocker. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Elkdale Baptist Church.
