Marguerite Smith

Marguerite Sims Smith, age 88, of Foley, AL and formerly from Selma, AL, passed away December 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Smith; parents, James Andrew and Jettie Mae Sims; brothers, Pete Sims and Allen Sims and sister, Della Mae Miles. Surviving are her son, Corbin DeWayne (Brenda) Smith; daughter, Louise (John) Morgan; brother, Harvey Lee Sims; sister, Ludie Magdalene Thrasher; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Valley Grande Baptist Church with Rev. Clarke Skelton officiating. Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. in Green Pond Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Bibb County with Selma Funeral Home directing. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD, 21741-5018.
