Marilyn Sebren

Marilyn L. Sebren age 84 of Jones, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma. She was born in Alabama on January 26, 1936 to the late Bennie Chavers and the late Frances Hull Chavers.
She was the former Cafeteria Manager at Edgewood Elementary School in Selma.
She is survived by her children, Martha (Mike) Pfauth, Susan (David) Zimmerman, David (Emily) Sebren, and Jonathan (Brandy) Sebren; grandchildren, Deborah (Jason) Alley, Amy (Jeremy) Mason, Cookie (Richard) Davis, Samantha (Zachary) Southern, Bradley Sebren, Taylor (Cory) Hayes, Tyler Sebren, Colby Sebren, Trent Sebren, and Regan Sebren; great-grandchildren, Bailey McDonald, Brandon Tomlinson, Oscar Higginbotham, Maggie Mason, Dylan Davis, Abel Hayes, and Jon Thomas Sebren; great-great-grandchildren, Phoebe Jones and Molly Roberts; and a sister, Sandra White.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Sebren; parents, Bennie "Leroy" and Frances "Nannie" Chavers; and sisters, Bobbie Jean Moore and Tootsie Kaldor.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00am from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Logan officiating.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Roy Kaldor, Tony Kaldor, David Moore, Bradley Sebren, Tyler Sebren, and Dylan Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Tomlinson, Oscar Higginbotham, Colby Sebren, and Trent Sebren.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Upper Room Church Ministries, P.O. Box 225 Wilton, AL 35187.
