Mark Thornton

Mark Jason Thornton, age 40, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away October 31, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thornton and Ann Bagley; maternal grandparents, Douglas (Eva) Thornton, Sr. and paternal grandparents, J. D. and Rosie Bell Wood. He is survived by his wife, Ashlee Hagan; mother-in-law, Katy (Stuart) Pope; daughters, Samantha Thornton and Katelee Hagan; brothers, Michael (Marcilla) Gross and Todd (Wendy) Thornton; father-in-law, David (Debi) Hagan; nephew, Anthony; niece, Kayla and great-niece, Madelyn. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Gross officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be his cousins and members of his motorcycle club.
