Martha Sue Brasher age 70 of Marbury, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 2, 2022.
She was born in Savannah, GA on March 2, 1952 to the late Alonzo Thomas Brasher and the late Helen Brown Brasher.
Martha Sue was a former seamstress at sewing factories in both Selma and Clanton.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Eason, Ryan Sellers (Brittany), Tasha Brown (Ben), and John Sellers (Jessica); 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Guerney Brasher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Rodney Mims; grandsons, Alexander Brown and Rodney Mims, Jr.; parents, Thomas and Helen Brasher; and brothers, Mark Brasher and Richard Brasher.
A Celebration of Martha Sue's life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Sardis Baptist Church in Maplesville with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 on Sunday at the church.
