Martha Huckabee

Martha Ebber Jones Wright Huckabee, age 95, went home to be with the Lord in her home on Friday May 6. She is a resident in Montgomery, AL and a former resident of Selma, AL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 10 at Perry Hill Road Baptist Church in Montgomery. Her pastor Stephen G. Nulph will be officiating the service with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. There will be a graveside service at Pineview Memory Gardens in Selma, AL. Visitation will be held at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home on Monday night from 5-7 p.m.
Mamma lived in Pensacola, Florida with her husband Earl Dayton Wright for eleven years, before he went home to be with the Lord. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Woodie Huckabee; brother, Cassey Jones and wife JoAnn; nephew, Lonnie Jones and niece Linda Jones; her mom and dad, Mary Roy Jones and Walter Thomas Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Frances and her husband Floyd L. Garber; step son, Woodie Earl Huckabee and wife Theo; one grandchild, Charity Looney and her husband Billy; one great-grandchild, Kelsie Looney; niece, Sandra Jones; nephews, Levert Jones, Donald Jones wife Marsha, and all their children and grandchildren.
She was a member of Perry Hill Road Baptist in Montgomery, AL. Mamma loved her church, her pastor and its people and they loved her. She was a loving, kind Christian mother and was a joy to be with. Now she is with our Lord Jesus and all those who went on before her.
Pallbearers will be Torry Jones, Tommy Jones, Eric Jones, David Jones, Kevin Jones and Don Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Gwachney, Don Middleton, Tom Turner, David Brunson, Al Gunnells, Bro. Ralph Mims, Tony Calhoun, David McLennon and Ronnie Causey.
