Martha Elizabeth Lackey McKay, age 93, a resident of Selma, AL, passed away December 10, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Lackey and Clemmie (Red) McKay; daughter, Bernice Crampton; brother, James Smith and sister, Inez Hilton.
Graveside services will be Thursday, December 13, 2007 at New Live Oak Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty (George) Ellis, Barbara (Frank) Rosser and Betty Jo (Brent) Scott; sons, Jimmy (Ellie) McKay and Wayne McKay; grandchildren, Sandra (Jeff) Deramus, Sheryl (Timothy) Richburg, Wayne (Kathy) Warden, Alan (Sharon) Warden, Melissa (David) Smallwood, Beth (Jimmy) Champion, Angie (Frank) Dessauer and Derek McKay; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Park Place Nursing Home, Dr. Daniel Clower and Dr. Park Chittom for the kindness and compassion shown to Mrs. McKay during her stay at Park Place.
