Mary Gay

Mary H. Gay, age 82 of Clanton passed away on Sunday December 20, 2009 at a local hospital surrounded by her friends and family. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday December 22, 2009 at the Scandinavian Cemetery in Thorsby at 4:00 p.m. with Shane Ogle and Tommy Glasscock officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Selma directing. Mrs. Gay is survived by her two sons, Johnny Newby and Wade Newby both of Birmingham, several grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her Clanton family, Tommy, Ann, Morgan and Lynsie Glasscock, Shane Ogle, Michael Hilton, Janice Williams and many other friends and extended family members. The friends of Mrs. Gay would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Alacare Home Hospice and The Nurses of Chilton Medical Center IMC Unit.
