Mary Bender Lockhart, age 76, of Selma, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Orrville and Aphrye Reese; and her adopted mother; Homer Barcliff Henry.
Mrs. Lockhart is survived by her sister; Margie Allen of Marietta, FL; children; Coline (Larry) Bender Sheffield, Lee (Babs) Bender Jr, Clair Bender Carden, Jerry (Debra) Bender, Sarah (Tommy) Bender Harris, Lloyd ���Corkey��� (Martha) Bender; grandchildren: Alphry, Louise, Wendy, Jessie, Andy, Lee III, Christina, Paul, Austin, Heather, Yvonne, Thomas, Jason; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Autaugaville Baptist Church with Rev. Garner Clark officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7th from 2:00 é��é��é�" 4:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Austin Bender, Paul Bender, Andy Brown, Lee Bender III, Thomas Harris and Dylan Curtin. Honorary pallbearers will be Leslie Nelson, Paul Olafson, and Dr. Samuel Saliba.
