Mary Mangold-Mangum

Mary Nell Mangold-Mangum, age 91, of Selma , AL , passed away June 5, 2010 . She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Mitchel Emfinger, mother, Maudie Belle Lanier Emfinger and husbands, Ed Frances Mangold and Ezra Earl "Buddy" Mangum; brothers, Merrill (Allie Ree) Emfinger, Norman Emfinger and sister Fairy (Otis) Ingram. Mary and Ed Mangold successfully owned and operated Mangold's Restaurant for twenty four years. Surviving are her nieces, June (TJ) Eason, Patty (Harold) Dunson, Betty Butler Coker, Margie Chancey, Jackie (Beadie) McLean, and Gayle (Jim) Robinson; nephews, Charles (Barbara) Emfinger and sister-in-laws, Irene Emfinger of Eclectic, AL and Gloria Jean Dearman of Selma, AL; and special care givers, Jeff and Jane Eason of Eclectic, AL. Funeral services will be at Selma Funeral Home on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. George Jones officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens . The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be family members.
