Mary Mooney

Mary Threadgill Mooney passed away July 17, 2020 at the age of 90.  She was born May 17, 1930 to the late Benjamin and Bertha Boone Threadgill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lee Mooney, Sr., her son Gerald (Jerry) Lee Mooney, Jr., and two sisters, Nelda Powers and Katie Brock.

She is survived by her son, John Mooney, grandchildren, Michelle (David) Pearce, Matt Mooney, and Taylor Mooney, great-grandchildren, Byron and Jack Jones, sister, Bennie Stringer, brothers, Frank (Jerry) Threadgill, Jim (Caroline) Threadgill, special friend, Marie Bearden, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cambridge Christian Church Cemetery in Orrville, Alabama, with Arnold Mooney officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.  Pallbearers will be Byron Jones, Jack Jones, Taylor Mooney, David Pearce,  Glenn Stephens, and Herman Lee Stephens.
