February 24th my beloved wife began her journey to be with her father, mother and sister. Mary Lynn Motley Myers was born February 9, 1945 to Leo and Gladys Wackerle Motley. She was 73 and was predeceased by her parents and sister, Cecilia Ann Krause.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bob Myers, a son Jason Robert Myers (Morgan Streeter), twin daughters Vanessa Lynn Hinton (Wayne) and Valerie Gwynne Small (Richard), three grandsons, Jonathan Hinton, Nash Hinton and Hunter Small, and one granddaughter, Motley Ann Hinton and two special family friends, Timberlen Fox and Garrett Fox.
Lynn graduated from Parrish High School, class of 1962, in Selma, Alabama. She attended Auburn University. Lynn was the proud owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics for 25 years. She also owned and operated the Boutique Clothing Store. Lynn was an avid supporter of the March of Dimes and the Cub Scouts. She was a Master Gardener and loved working in her greenhouse. Lynn was a lifetime member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, her many friends and especially her grandchildren.
