Mary Wardwell

Mary Adams McClinton Wardwell, of North Palm Beach, Florida formerly of Selma, passed away on Thursday July 10, 2008 at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home and burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande. Ms.Wardwell was preceded in death by her husband David Wardwell in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Karin Robbins Ph.D. and son-in-law Dr. Don Robbins Ph.D. of Laramie, Wyoming, a brother, Ronnie Adams (Sara) of Selma, three sisters, Shirley Pierce, Loretta Adams, and Barbara Adams (Jim) all of Selma, and a cousin Maryanne (Jamison) Farrar of Montgomery. Ms. Wardwell spent 20 years of her career teaching Physical Science at Conniston Junior High School and she also served 17 years as Assistant Director of Transportation for Palm Beach County School District. Ms. Wardwell was a proud mother, a beloved sister, a cherished cousin, and a great friend to all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday July 15, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
