Mary Jo Willis, age 84 of Selma passed away on Sunday March 20, 2011 at the Vaughan Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Aaron Ellis officiating and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Willis is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar C. Willis and son Edward ���Eddie��� Willis. She is survived by her son, David Terrell Willis, four daughters, Barbara (Rick) Blackerby, Janice (David) Scott, Brenda (Dale) Cranmore, and Teresa (Tommy) Gaylor, and a Special friend, Buddy Howorth who she thought of as a son. She also leaves behind her 2 loving companions and best friends Lou, and Penny. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Scott Davis, Jamie Cranmore, Alan Gaylor, Buddy Howorth, David Scott, Bruce Thornell, Matt Karis and Dale Cranmore.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 Saturday March 26 2011.
