Maurine Hughes

Maurine J. Hughes passed away January 25, 2021 at the age of 95. She was born February 9, 1925 to the late Lotha Jackson and Ida Powers Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Hughes; her parents and her brother, John David Jackson.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Wayne) Ellis; son, Jerry (Darlene) Hughes; grandchildren, Dwayne (Shea) Hughes, Michael (Lindsey) Ellis and Jason (Gina) Ellis and great-grandchildren, Mary MacKenzie Hughes, Alia Kuehne, Brayden Ellis, Heidi Ellis and Megan Ellis.

Graveside services will be Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Dwayne Hughes officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Michael Ellis, Jason Ellis, Bruce Adams, David McVay, Willard Nichols and Kenny King.
